MCEL Basketball Tournament action underway in Plainville

The 2019 Mid-Continent League Basketball Tournament began last Thursday in Plainville with the play-in games.

The Tiger boys won their game against Oakley by the score of 47-18 to advance

The Stockton Junior High Tigers were eliminated from the 2019 Mid-Continent Elementary League Basketball Tournament following losses in the play-in games last Thursday.

The Tiger girls were defeated by Trego 31-8, while the Stockton boys downed Oakley 47-18. The Tiger boys advanced to play Phillipsburg last Satruday, but were eliminated from the tournament after falling by the score of 50-31.

The Stockton teams were at Osborne this Monday, the 9th, and will host Thunder Ridge next Monday, December 16. Games will begin at 4:30 p.m.
