Linda (Dibble) Nicholas

Linda (Dibble) Nicholas, Valley Center, passed away peacefully on May 2nd, 2024, at the age of 77.

She was born September 8, 1946, in Stockton to Dale D. and Maxine Dibble.

Linda spent her life taking care of others. She was a highly skilled nurse for 52 years, a loving mother to four, a grandmother to 10, a great-grandmother to five, and a friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maxine Dibble and Dale D. Dibble; her husband, Arnold "Arnie" Nicholas; and her stepson, Roger Nicholas.

She is survived by her children, Janice Fontes and Tracy Herrick (Julia); her stepchildren, Michael Nicholas (Katie) and Debra Harrison (Johnnie); her grandchildren, Amanda Corning (Weston), Hanna Fontes, Jessica Fontes, Lindey Eptig (Adam), Patricia Herrick, Jose Manuel Lopez, April Lee, Shelley Holland, Jason McCall (Tiffany) and Tiffany Marshall (Dayle); her great-grandchildren, Hadley, Hayden, Kylie, Ashley, and Marshall; her siblings, Max Dibble (Pam), Lucille Dibble, Helen Smith (Larry), Ramona Dibble and Bill Dibble (Dixie); and her sisters-in-law, Nola Deffenbaugh (Jerry) and Nelva McNeff (Ron). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, Linda requested donations to be made in her memory to the Valley Center Public Library at 314 E Clay Street, Valley Center, KS 67147.
