Paul F. Urban, age 95, of Victoria, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Hays Medical Center in Hays.

He was born February 22, 1928, in Loretto, Kansas, to Alois G. and Anna (Schlitter) Urban. He married Juliana (Braun) in Victoria on August 13, 1951.

Paul was a farmer most of his life, a jack of all trades. He retired from farming in 2001. In his early years, he worked for several drilling companies and also was a pumper. He was a member of The Basilica of St. Fidelis and a 1946 St. Joseph Military Academy graduate.

He is survived by his wife, Juliana Urban, of the home; his children, Judy Link and Jeff Weber, Plainville; Joyce Werth and husband, Stephen, Schoenchen; Steve Urban and wife, Brenda, Hays; eleven grandchildren, Brandy Angel and husband, Brian; Terri Hilgers and husband, John; Buck Link and Laci Westover; Jennifer Casper and husband, Chris; Sarah Struckman and husband, Tylor; Melissa Jackson and husband, Brian; Douglas Werth and wife, Lisa; Damian Werth and wife, Megan; Skyler Urban and fiancé, Ashley Hotchkiss; Kiara Urban and fiancé, Carlos Schwindt; Kade Urban; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and his sister-in-law, Bernie Urban, Great Bend.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his four brothers, George Urban, Leonard Urban, Eugene Urban, and Carl Urban; his sister, Esther Urban; and his great-grandson, Triston Werth.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2024, at The Basilica of St. Fidelis, Victoria, Kansas, with celebrant Father Regie Urban. Burial will be in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria.

A Vigil Service and Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, at The Basilica of St. Fidelis. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, and from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Friday, all at The Basilica of St. Fidelis.
