Former Stockton resident, Warren Dale Jones, age 74, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Parkview Care Center, Osborne.

He was born July 8, 1945 in Stockton, Kansas to Roy and Clara (Pick) Jones. He lived his entire life in the Woodston and Stockton area.

He spent most of his adult life in and around the harvest field. Dale was known to his friends as a storyteller and enjoyed attending the horse races. He was a retired member of the Phillipsburg National Guard. He had many friends from Oklahoma and North Dakota.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Clara Jones; brothers Richard (Duane) Jones and William E. (Bill) Jones; and sisters, Ruth Darlene Jones and Marie (Jones) Dix.

He is survived by is children: a son, Todd (Sherida) Jones, Wichita, and a daughter, Kimberly (Clint) Hill, Surprise, Arizona; a brother, Kenneth (Carol) Jones, Kirwin; and five grandchildren: Madilyn, Nola and Leah Hill and Thijs and Noah Jones. He is also survived by his friend and caregiver, Molene (Green) Hartzler.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Warren will be buried in the Ash Rock Cemetery in rural Woodston.
