Going to Grass Preparation Program on Mon., March 11th

K-State Research and Extension and the Philips-Rooks District will host a Going to Grass Preparation Program on Monday, March 11th, at the Rooks County Fairgrounds 4-H Building in Stockton.

This free program will start at 2:00 p.m. with Pasture Management (Managing woody encroachment, controlling Phragmites and Old World Bluestem) conducted by Walt Fick, KSU Range Management, NRCS, and Rooks County Weed Department.

At 3:00 p.m. is Water Management (Alternative Watering Options), conducted by KSU Watershed Specialists.

At 4:00 p.m. is Cattle Management (Vaccinations and Going to Grass Preparation) conducted by A. J. Tarpoff, Beef Extension Veterinarian.

At 4:30 p.m. is Technologies (Humminbyrd Drones and 701 X).

The program will conclude at 5:00 p.m.
