Christmas & New Year’s Holiday deadlines & closings at the Sentinel

The upcoming Christmas and New Year’s Holidays are not going to be a pleasant ones this year when it comes to getting out a paper. With the holidays falling on Mondays this year, our deadlines are going to be much earlier than normal.

For Christmas, the Sentinel will be closed Friday, December 22nd and Monday, December 25th in observance of Christmas.

Please send in your early copy for the December 28th issue by Thursday, December 21st.

For New Years, we will be closed on Friday, December 29 and Monday, January 1st. Please send in your early copy for the January 4th issue by Thursday, December 28th.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation and wish you the best this holiday season.

Twice The Fun!

AUSTIN DIXON AND TRENTON FLETCHER, who are both from Oklahoma, provided the live music for Red Fest 2024, capping off a fun day at Stockton’s inaugural event. Dixon, a country music singer/songwriter who is also pursuing his PhD in Meteorology at the University of Oklahoma, kicked off the beautiful evening, entertaining those in attendance with many original songs, as well as a couple hits from other artists.

Reds Dirtwork, LLC owner, Colton Williams, takes a bit of a breather prior to Saturday night’s concerts which culminated Red Fest’s day of fun down at the Stockton City Park. Williams, with the help of others, has spent the last few months planning the big event for Stockton and the surrounding areas.
