The Swing Into Summer Festival CAR SHOW in Stockton is this Friday, June 16th and Saturday, June 17th! So start up your engines for two big days filled with lots of fun and plenty of activities scheduled!

On Friday, June 16th, Cruise Night will be from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Food vendors and school groups will be on Main Street selling their specialty items and food. So come early, bring your lawn chairs, pick out a prime spot on the sidewalks, eat some yummy snacks, buy a t-shirt or craft, and then enjoy an evening of fabulous cars, motorcycles and trucks cruising Main. (Cruisers, please remember to follow the traffic rules. Use your turn signals, stay within the speed limit, watch for pedestrians, etc.)

On Saturday, June 17th, registration for the Car Show will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Stockton City Park with dash plaques and goody bags for the entrants.

There will be Chicken Bingo, games and raffles throughout the day. Also, during the Car Show, a Poker Run will be held. Contestants can purchase their $10.00 card at the main tent near the Lower Shelter House. The Poker Run will take place on foot through the vendor show.

To add to the atmosphere, great rock ‘n roll music will be playing as you enjoy walking under the canopy of shade trees in Stockton’s City Park, visiting with friends, checking out the cars, purchasing a few items from the vendors, and trying your luck at a few of the games.

At 3:00 p.m. the awards will be announced for the Cruise Night and the Car Show winners! There’s a lot to see and do, so make plans to attend this special summer-time treat! Don’t miss out on a single minute!

This car show is brought to you by Stockton Rodders, Inc., along with Rooks County EMS, City of Stockton and the Stockton Area of Commerce celebrating Stockton’s 150th anniversary!
