THE STOCKTON TIGERS ARE HEADED TO STATE after defeating Tribune-Greeley County in the sub-state finals last Saturday evening in Russell. Tiger boys advance to sub-state after cruising by Logan 74-32

The Stockton Tigers performed like a well-oiled machine last Saturday when they faced the Logan Trojans in the finals of the Class 1A Regional Basketball Tournament held in Mankato. The Tigers, who were firing on all cylinders, cruised to 74-32 win over the Trojans, advancing them to the Class 1A Sub-State Basketball Tournament to be held in Russell this Thursday-Saturday.

Hahn and Howell place first at MCEL Wrestling

Ashlyn Hahn and Hunter Howell each brought home first place from the 2020 Mid-Continent Elementary League Wrestling Tournament held last Thursday in Ellis. Hahn, who wrestled in the 80-95 Girls Division, had two falls to capture the win, while Howell, pinned five opponents en route to a first-place finish. The tournament concluded the 2020 wrestling season for the junior high grapplers.

HUDSYN HAGAN, grandson of Corky and Linda Hagan, took 1st at Squires Westling Club Tournament in Lincoln, Nebraska on Sunday, February 23rd. He had a tough bracket but managed to go 3-0.
